Kalyon Karapınar Solar Power Plant Project, the Bonds, Loans & Sukuk - Turkey Awards

Project is build & operating of 1.347,7 MWp/1.000 MWe Greenfield PV Solar Power Plant in Konya-Karapınar which is supported by Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Turkey under YEKDEM Regulation. The Project aids green financing via solar modules, sustainable energy usage in Turkey and lessen carbon emission.

Total Project Cost is USD  1.117 mio and ICBC Turkey commitment is USD 19 mio with a total 9 banks contributing  the project. ICBC Yatırım acted as one of the Mandated Lead Arrangers (“MLA”).

As the ICBC Investment Banking Project Finance Department, Kalyon - Karapınar Solar Power Plant Project, which we participated in the intermediation of the financing, within the scope of the 1.35 GW Kalyon Karapınar Solar Power Plant Project awarded as "ECA, DFI, IFI Deal of the Year" on 22.11.2022 apart from the other awards received from international institutions.
